IJAZAH COURSE:
Meaning Of Ijazah:
Ijazah is an Arabic word that means “authorization”, “consent”, or “license.” From an Islamic point of view, Ijazah in Quran means permission to teach the Quran perfectly with the proper rules of Tajweed.
What Is An Ijazah Certificate?
A certificate granted by eminent scholars to teach the Quran and tajweed and other Islamic teachings to the Muslims all over the world, such a certificate is called an “Ijazah certificate.”
There Are 2 Primary Sorts Of Ijazah:
- Quran Recitation Ijazah
- Quran Memorization Ijazah
1. Quran Recitation Ijazah(Tilawat):
If a person recites the whole Quran without any mistakes and recites with proper tajweed rules then an Ijazah certificate is issued by a Sheikh or Imam who is previously an Ijazah holder. The person also has to clear an evaluation test before qualifying for the certificate.
Who Is Eligible For Quran Recitation Ijazah?
The student must be Hafiz/Hafiza who has completed the Quran Memorization Course and must have proper knowledge of Tajweed rules
2. Quran Memorization Ijazah (Memorization):
If a person recites the whole Quran by heart (without seeing it in the Quran) with proper tajweed rules without any mistake then an Ijazah certificate is issued by a Sheikh or Imam who is previously an Ijazah holder. The student should have proper knowledge of Tajweed rules and he/she should be proficient in reading the Quran.
